Kerala Male Police SI Physical Efficiency Test

Candidates must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the National physical efficiency One Star Standard test. (Showing the minimum standards of efficiency as noted below)

All the Female candidates must qualify any of the 5 (five) events out of the 9 (nine) events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test.

Medical Rules and Disqualification

Joel Mathew, a Kerala PSC aspirant from Kottayam, asked for the medical disqualification details on our community forum.

  1. Each eye must have a full field of vision.

  2. Colour Blindness, Squint or any morbid condition of the eyes or lids of either eye shall be a disqualification.

  3. Candidates must be free from apparent physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Feet, Varicose veins, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing.

  4. Candidates should produce a medical certificate in original at the time of physical efficiency test/certificate verification in the form prescribed hereunder certifying to their physical fitness and eyesight without glasses obtained from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon.
